MY TOP 8 EDITS
These are my primary sources that I have taken in digbeth for project taste of digbeth This photo was taking in Digbeth for our project tease of Digbeth I went out and taken a season of
photos and we edited/photo shop them and these are mine photos.
This photo is of some vent and I like the way you can see the dark under tones,I think it shows some really good tone in this photo because of the shades of tone mainly Gray and black in this photo and you can see a little criss cross pattern which is a nice little touch to the dark tones because you can see just a littler pattern which is a nice touch like I said, and you can just make out the tone goes from dark to light,The main focal point of this photo is the vent itself just because there is nothing else in this photo to focus on but the vent.
The main thing you notice about this photo I think is the dark under the vent just because its all dark and your eyes just go to it but the hole thing is the main focal point, when I was taking this photo I was think this would be great just because you can play about with the tones in this photo.
If I could take this again,I would take it in different angles of this photo, showing all sorts off different types of angles what I could of done.

This photo was taken by some old damp area, what I liked most about taking this photo was the fact that it was in some rough place but it looks so beautiful with all the different colours, texture it has to the photo it gives the photo feeling and life because the damp/moss is growing and how the paint is coming off the wall is a nice touch, what I like most about this photo is the colours within this photo just the fact its that its not what you expected it to look like,if I could do this photo again I would play about with changing the colour of the photo and maybe take it up closers and just get different parts of the wall and get close ups of the paint and the moss/damp and just break it down and play about the tones.
I think the main focal point in this photo is the dark area just because your eye go straight to that area but in a way it don't really have a focal point cause this photo is a close up like my other one.
This is another close up photo,I picked this one just because of look of the wood and how its breaking away and has that split look as well I thought it was a great moment to take a photo like this just because of every last detail in this photo, its not a photo you see everyday it has light, tone, texture and feeling to the photo out of all of the photos I would have to say this one is one of my favourite photo I have taken, just because it shows even though I'm not a professional,it looks like one has taken this photo, which I think stands out.
The main focal point is the darkness again just because its in the middle of the photo which I don't mean to do,like the other 3 photo but I feel this photo is so different to the others just because not only the darkness the main focal point its the wood detail as well it gives it that little bit more to the photo I think.
If I could do this photo over again,I would do nothing to it I think its perfect the way it is,I couldn't be any happier with the way it come out just because of the detail this photo has,it has to be one of my best I think personally.
Now this photo is different but the same as the others in a ways just because of the wood detail again and what I like most about this photo that there is a gap in the wood and you can see to the other side which is nice but the sad thing is you cant see the other side,I did take another one so you could see the other side but I didn't want to use it just because I think showing my first attempt, was showing what I can really do.
The main focal point has to be the gap in the middle of the two pieces of wood even though you cant see what's on the other side, your eye go to it as soon as you see the photo, this photo was taken by the custard factory in the car park there was a wall full of street art and this was just a little close up of some of it,I think most of my photos are close ups and the fact ive have done that is because most not all most photographers take there photos from a far and I didn't want to do that with my photos I wanted it to be clever what the focal point is and that's what I liked most about do these photos.
What I would change about this photo is I would've played more around with the brightness and contrasts leaves I have already, but I wish I did play around a bit more with that,I wouldn't of taken the photo again I would of played around in Photoshop more.
With this photo it was the simplest one of all I was just walking and seen this cup on the floor and could see the rain drops on the cup I thought it would be an interesting photo just because you can see the rain drops on the cup and how you can see blue on the bottom of it as well and the rocks around the cup which gives it that more, brings me on to the main focal point is the cup itself because its in the middle but what helps it that more is the fact it has a dark background to it because of the tarmac it black which makes the cup stand out just that little more and moving onto the rain drops is a nice detail to the photo just because, you see the cup and then your eyes just see the drops on the cup which is a nice though to it I think,if I could take this photo again I think I would, move the cup and put it somewhere else but I might lose the rain drops so that's something to look at or I could of standed it up and placed it in different angles,And after that I could of played with editing of it,like changed the lightness and darkness.
What else I like about this photo is the fact it looks winter, just because you can see the rain and leafs are brown and see twigs that have come off the trees because of the rough weather, which brings me onto why was the cup there in the first place?,That's the question you have to ask yourself when taking photos, what do you see?,Not just a cup look you have to look past that and see something else.
Now with this photo I just could look at it all day, because of it unique colours and style of how I did this photo,I wanted something different when taking this photo,so I was looking down with the camera so it was kind of a birds eye view but it wasn't to high up but its still looking down on the wall kind of,i did play about with this in Photoshop and I think it come out wonderful, just because of all the colours in it,like look at that green is goes from black to dark green and keeps getting lighter and you can see this baby blue which complements one an other and the dark outing, what I like most about this photo like as it gets to the middle it gets lighter, like starts off light ans gets lighter,In Photoshop I played about and this is how I did it,
Image-adjustments and then brightness/contrast levels and moved that about till I liked how it was looking and then I went on colour balance and did the same.
If I was taking this again I would try and get more of the blue in the photo just because you have more colours going on.
The main focal point has to be the paint peeling off the wall cause of bad weather over time,every-time I look at this photo I just see the paint coming off peeling back the green and the blue coming out from underneath, which they have tried to cover it up but the blue still coming through.
This photo has to be one of the best ones I have taken just because its so simple but yet so interesting and has so much character to it,yes its a glass cup,but like I have been saying look past that, why is it there?how did it get there?
I think it got there because there might of been a party and someone didn't want the glass cup now they finished their drink so they left it behind I could be wrong but when looking at photos or painting always think of what could be going on or what could of happen and make a little story about what you think,I did put this one in Photoshop because I was thinking it could look better if I play with the brightness and this is what I come up with, what I like most is the orange tones of the wall standing out at you and the deep blue windows, but moving back to the wall with them really bright orange tones and the detail of each brick is outstanding seeing the different tones of yellow, red and orange,I am happy I did put it in Photoshop just because you wouldn't have seen all the different tones, its eye catching and something fresh and different.
The main focal point in this photo is a hard one but I wouldn't say it was the glass up or the wall,I would have to say it was the deep blue windows with it starting off black then deep blue and going from there. If I could do it again I wouldn't do anything but I would edit it just a little more to see what else I could bring out in the photos all them different tones, lines and textures.
Saved the best till last, now with this one I didn't mean to make this blurry I was taking the shot and I moved the camera to soon because I thought I had the photo but clearly I didn't,but it give me this photo which is interesting but you can see these blue blur lines and what Digbeth is known for the street art in the back ground which gives the photo a great combination, because it hasn't messed the photo up in anyway only made it look better,I did edit it up in Photoshop I only brightened it,Just to enhance that blue blur,to give it more life to the photo and something that can be the main focal point which is the blue blur I think because when I look my eye go to the blur.
The tones in this photo are mainly blue just because of that blur it makes the focus on the blue but this photo is a bright photo out of all 8 I have done and I like that because not all my photos I picked are the same, yes most of them are close up because I wanted to make it easy and simple to see what the main focal point is and what off,now if I had to do this again I would move it faster just to see, what the different out comes would be,and of different places as well just to see what the back ground would look like with the blur going through the photo.
