Urban Landscapes Photographers.
Joel Meyerowitz
He was born in New York in 1938
He began photographing in 1962
He is a street photographer in the tradition of although he works exclusively in colour.
Portrait and landscape photographer.
His work is outstanding and bold with crisp fresh look at photography, his work is like the world never sleeps but the way he works is unique and a different style to other photographers
its unique because its capturing what people are doing in the moment because no one is paying attention to what the photographer is doing, they are to busy with in them self to stop and look around once in a while
"The saying the world never sleeps"
This his photo he really dose show that by showing that no one person has both to
stop and look at what he is doing but he
may like the way that looking by
showing that everyone is too busy to
stop and look.
This one of the police man "kicking"or "Dancing" is a different one because is makes you think What is he really doing? and Why is he doing it? well that's what i asked my self,There are two ways of looking at this photo looks like some sort of a riot happened and the police man is kicking something on the floor.

This one above is in black ans white to give it tone, and a bland effect to this photo like nothing
special about this photo but its about looking in-between the lines and seeing what the photo really is about.
Stripping back the layers and really looking at the photo and what it makes you feel?what you see?and what do you think is going on? etc.
Gütschow studied art at the University of Fine Arts of Hamburg from 1993 to 2000 in 1998.She served as guest professor from 2009-2010 at the Academy of Visual Arts in Leipzig. Since 2011 she is a professor at the Academy of Media Arts
Now this photographer work differently to Joel meyerowitz because his photos have people and it busy full of colour and more then one focal point with beate guschow she use black and white for tone and texture and there is only one focal point in her photos just look at the one above it looks like an abandon building just left there for kids to vandalise the tone in the photos are very Gray not much light or dark in-between.
All of her photos are the same really with the Gray tones, the photo to the right the focal point is the building because its in the middle of the photo which takes your eyes to the middle and not focus what's going around the photo because the photographer has made the building in the middle, the main focal point, which it very interesting how she dose it,because not only dose she put them in black and white she brings all the attention to the middle of these beautiful old buildings.
Now this photo is different to the others photo she has taken because there isn't a main focal point there is two main focal points, the bridge and the car park/building and again she has use the black and white tones but like ive said she like to use the Gray tones not much dark or white tones
